We were in Granada to go skiing to Sierra Nevada. The location of the hotel was good for this. The underground parking was also good although expensive 14.50 EUR per day. The staff were helpful. Initially our room was very hot, like a sauna. Apparently the hotel only has the option to either have heating or air conditioning on. In February there was no aircon. Even with the heating off and window open it was very hot. We were given another room which was better. Still warm but we could sleep and the beds were comfortable. There was no kettle in the room which wasn’t great but staff let us have coffee from breakfast restaurant, which we were thankful for. The swimming pool was closed and children were not allowed in the (over priced) indoor pool area which the kids were very disappointed about. When asked at reception - no one knew of any available swimming facilities in Granada. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very nice and cheap. However dinner was only available from 8pm which is typical for Spain however in a hotel I would have expected the restaurant would have been open earlier to meet the needs of foreigners. Again restaurant staff were very nice.

The hotel is located just far enough out that walking into the center or to the Alhambra would have been a bit much, so we took taxis for about 6 Euros (plus or minus a bit). There is also a bus that goes to the Cathedral, although we did not use it. Staff were very helpful and responsive. During our February visit the hotel's heating system was the default mode for the AirConditioning system and when we got to our room it was hot. We turned off the fan but it was still hot. Reception immediately sent a man to unlock the window. You could open it with the upper tilt feature but he unlocked it so that we could open the entire window. That helped tremendously and we were fine after that. I paid extra to park in their underground garage. Easy entry and exit and I was able to find a large space for my car.

It is a very nice looking hotel and rooms - in room fridge which was good. We had a terrace with a mountain view - loved that. Felt we got really good value. A little out of the centre of Granada with a bustop right near the hotel - we caught the bus in and out of the town centre a few times and it was quite easy. But you could walk if you wanted - a bit far for us in the heat. Carpark under the hotel 14 euros a day. Staff very good. Pool was nice and there was also a restaurant on site. A few other restaurants and shops nearby. Overall very happy with our stay here.

Good location if you travel by car parking wise. Alhambra parking lots are just a few minutes away. There is also frequent direct bus service No 33 to city center. Takes about 10-15 minutes to center. Breakfast super. Plenty of fresh food with many options. Nice view from room. Great fast elevators (no wait at all 😜). Very good window insulation no traffic noise although there is a busy roundabout across the street. Central A/C very adequate.

Alexios

Private underground parking where you can leave your car. Since the hotel is quite far from the city center, it's very good that there is a bus stop just a few steps from the hotel (the one where the bus stops on the way from the center is literally in front of the hotel entrance!). The staff were friendly. The breakfast was exceptional, the choice of food was more than sufficient.
